Ethan Cole — On-Chain & Data Editor
I’m Ethan Cole, and I cover crypto the way an engineer reads a system log: I look for signals, not slogans. At Cryptomil, I focus on on-chain data, token mechanics, and the behind-the-scenes flows that explain price action better than any hot take.
I started in data analytics and later moved into digital-asset research, building dashboards that tracked exchange inflows/outflows, stablecoin supply shifts, whale behavior, and protocol health. Over time, I realized the hardest part wasn’t collecting the data—it was explaining it responsibly, without overclaiming or forcing narratives. That’s the standard I bring to every piece I publish.
My strongest areas are on-chain interpretation, DeFi market structure, and investigative data work. I’m comfortable reading smart-contract documentation, comparing tokenomics models, and translating complex metrics into plain English. When the market moves fast, I try to answer the practical questions: what changed, where the liquidity went, and what evidence supports the story.
I’m also cautious by nature. I prefer “here’s what we can prove” over “here’s what we hope is true.” If you want analysis that respects uncertainty and still delivers clear takeaways, you’ll feel at home with my work.
